Ingredients

1 rack baby back ribs
Yellow mustard (as a binder)
Cherry Pepper Homemade BBQ Rub
Smoked Cherry BBQ Glaze
Apple juice (for spritzing)
1/2 cup butter

Directions

Prepare the baby back ribs by removing the membrane and trimming any excess fat or silverskin. Pat both sides dry with a paper towel.

Apply a thin layer of yellow mustard to both sides as a binder. Generously coat with the Cherry Pepper Homemade BBQ Rub.

Preheat your Pit Boss grill to 250°F using Cherry Blend wood pellets.

Place the ribs meat-side up directly on the grates. Smoke for 1.5 hours, spritzing with apple juice every 45 minutes.

Transfer the ribs to a small foil pan. Pour in 1/3–1/2 cup of the cherry BBQ glaze and add a few slabs of butter. Cover tightly with foil or a lid, then return to the smoker for 1 hour to braise.

Remove the cover, brush the ribs generously with more glaze, and continue smoking uncovered for the final 30 minutes, until the glaze sets and the ribs reach an internal temperature of 198–203°F.

Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
