Cooking Instructions

Looking for a simple but delicious side for your grilled burgers or smoked ribs? These bacon cheese fries are baked on the grill and make the perfect complement to any BBQ meal. Feel free to go a little extra and add a can of your favorite chili or perhaps a dollop of sour cream. How about both? Either way, there’s a lot you can do with this dish to make your meal an ultimate weekend night feast.

Note: It is recommended to use Hickory Hardwood Pellets with this recipe.

  1. Start your Grill on ''smoke'' with the lid open until a fire is established in the burn pot (3-7 minutes). Preheat to 350F.
  2. Place the bacon on the bacon rack and place on the grill. Cook until crispy, about 15 minutes.
  3. Once slightly cooled, crumble the strips into small pieces and set it aside.
  4. Grill the frozen French fries based on the package instructions, cooking on a pan in the instead of the oven.
  5. Once fries are golden brown, sprinkle cheese and bacon on top of the fries, and return the pan to the grill and barbecue at 450°F for 1 minute. Remove from grill and enjoy!
